Where it all began
Claire Welsh is the brains behind the project, bringing over 30 years’ experience as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, 15 years as an Expert Witness and, more recently, as a Case Manager, where she has witnessed first-hand the struggles that families with extraordinary disability challenges face when they try to book a holiday. Claire has continued with here clinical work throughout the growth of HTH.
Husband Steve retired from a career in Electronic Manufacturing to manage the operations of Holistic Thinking Holidays full time in 2021.
2019 - Our first purchase
In November 2019, we purchased our first caravan, Wilbur at Haven's Caister on Sea holiday park in Norfolk
2021 - HTH #2, Eldo
In April 2021, we purchased our second caravan Eldo, at Haven's Burnham on Sea Holiday village in Somerset
2021 - HTH #3, Rose
In September 2021, we purchased our third caravan, Rose, Blue Anchor Leisure's Golden Palm Resort in Chapel st Leonards, Lincolnshire
2022 - HTH #4, David
In May 2022, we purchased our fourth caravan David, at Lyons Oakfield Caravan park in Towyn, North Wales
2023 - HTH #5,Nellie
In October 2022, we purchased our fifth caravan, Nellie, on Cove's, now Haven's Seal Bay Resort in Selsey West Sussex.
2022 - HTH #6, Zelda
In November 2022, we purchased our sixth caravan Zelda, at Parkdean's Newquay Holiday Park in Cornwall.
2022 - HTH #7, Jubilee
In March 2024, we purchased our seventh caravan Jubilee, Lyon Lido Beach Holiday park, in Prestatyn, North Wales.
2024 - HTH #8, Stella
In November 2023, we purchased our eighth caravan Stella, at Haven's Weymouth Bay Holiday Park in Dorset.
2022 - HTH #9, Manny
In March 2025, we purchased our ninth caravan, Manny, at Coastfields North Shore Holday park in Skegness in Lincolnshire.i

In November 2025, we purchased our tenth caravan , Red at Haven's Hopton on Sea Holiday village.
